People with changeful life stories settle to Cappadocia. One of these people is Almut Wegner. 15 years ago she decided to move with her children to Uchisar. Then her neighbors, friends and relatives threw their hands up in horror. Today this ambitious woman and artist lives in a traditional Turkish house, which she adapted with style and taste. Her eldest daughter, who attended primary school in Uchisar, is now writing her dissertation in chemistry. Almut's youngest son every morning a half-dozen times knocks on my guestroom's door and every time gets a handful of gummy bears. Almut Wegner possesses some guest rooms. Nowadays she is hosting a group of Georgians. The highlight of each day is the breakfast. We are sitting on the terrace and gazing at the rock caves above the village and the Pigeon Valley's fairy chimneys intoxicated by their beauty. The breakfast we get on the table is not a minor eye candy. The woman hands us over on a ladder a tray with appetite stimulating, decorated bowls after a way from the kitchen to the housetop. One of the Georgian guests murmurs to me in English " The world can't be more beautiful"...
